Golden Bauhinia Square is a public open space at 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, beside HKCEC. Its centrepiece is the 6-metre Forever Blooming Bauhinia sculpture, a Central Government gift marking the 1997 handover. The daily 8:00 flag-raising ceremony and nearby 20-metre Reunification Monument make the square a core Hong Kong civic landmark.
